Thank you card for Cutters Creek

For my project this week I decided do focus on some of the clubs I am in at Cutters Creek.  I found this paper I had, it had different kinds of fruits so I cut them out. I started with a 4.5 x 5.5 card base and then matted a yellow paper that was from Echo Park collection For the record 2, and then embossed it using Anna Griffin Matelasse.  I used my scotch quick dry glue to adhere it down.  Then I had some washi tape from Doodlebugcalled berry blossoms and put it at the bottom.

Then I took the cuts outs of the fruit and lined them across the washi tape.  I used my tuxedo black ink by Memento to stamp the saying , Thanks a bunch.  The stamp is from my stash. I used some glue pop up dots on the fruits to give them dimension.  Hope you enjoyed this card and please stop by the store for these items.  The items I used were from a club that Kim has open to all.  It is a go way to try new things as well as getting something you want on a budget.  They are great clubs, come by and check them out and remember ask KIM if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great weekend.

Here is what I made for you today:

2 Christmas Tags, I used my cricut to cut these out.  I used Tags, Bags, Boxes & More and cut the tag at 5inches.  Then I embossed them using Sizzix Christmas Set #3 and Cuttlebug embossing folder MatelassĂ© by Anna Griffen. I know it is hard to see, the snowman has the snowflakes and the penguin has the MatelassĂ©.  The snowman and the penguin are cut out from Create a Critter 2, at 3inches each. I used some ice stickles called crystal ice on their scarf's, hat and mittens. The ribbon is blue and red from what I had at home and then I found some stamps and stamped the saying of winter joy and happy holiday's in red and blue ink.  You can find these and many more items at the Cutters Creek store and if you need something special please ask Kim and she will help you find it.

Another 4th of July Project

This is  project I did for Cutters Creek for which I am on the Design Team.

It’s almost 4th of July, and I decided to make a card.  I got this digital image from online(The cutting cafĂ©) and it was perfect for this card.  I used a card size 4 ¼ x 5 and then I matted the red poka dot from the Happy Days paper collection from Echo Park. I used Copic markers to color the hat I used Y17,B29 and R46. I used some Ice Stickles on the stars to give it some bling. The saying is something I also found online(the cutting cafĂ©). I used pop up dots from my stach to give the hat and the words a 3-d look.

Please come by the store to find these and other great products.  Just ask Kim if you can't find something, she will gladly help you get it.  HAPPY 4th of JULY.  Be safe.

Here is a new project I did for 4th of July, a tag.  I am on a design team for CUTTERS CREEK.  This is my project I did for them and I thought to share it here on my blog as well.
The cut outs are from Quick Kutz / Lifestyle Crafts. I used red cardstock for the tag and the red(barn door) and blue(faded jeans) are from Tim Holts & Ranger distress collection by core'dinations.  I cut the tag out using my cricut and Tags, Bags, Boxes and More, and size about 6inches..  then I just added red ribbon to the top.
Here is a close up
Hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by.

May Arts Ribbon DT Call Project 3-tutorial

Here is my 3rd project for May Arts Ribbon DT Call.  I needed to make a card for my aunt who is not feel well. So, I made this card hoping to cheer her up.

So here is what I am starting out with
some blue( creative memories-cloud) and yellow paper, a white card, sizzix dot embossing folder, stamp set from The Stamps of Life- umbrella4you and ink-, black, sky and yellow ink, spell binders Lacey Ovals and Classic ovals (LG) and yellow ribbon.
Next I stamped the saying and the umbrella( blue & yellow ink on umbrella),
Then I stamped the raindrops(blue ink) in random order on white cardstock and cut it out with the large oval.

Then with the Lacey Oval cut it out in yellow.
Then I layered the yellow and blue embossed paper on the white card with the ribbon under the yellow card stock.

I added the raindrops to the yellow oval, used pop up dots on the umbrella.Added the saying after I layered it on blue and yellow to the bottom right and added the yellow bow to the upper left side. This is my get-well card for my aunt. Hope she likes it.

May Arts Ribbon Design Team Call-Project 1 & 2

Here is the first project I made for the May Arts Ribbon DT Call. I used the Nesting Doily Hearts from Life Style Crafts to create this card lovely pink heart card.
My second card I wanted to do something different so I went for a Christmas card.  This is  the front of the card.

I used my pop-n-cut from sizzix and added a saying.

The inside I added
some ribbon string to look like bulbs hanging down and a

snowmen from the Cricut and bling on the snowflakes.  Hope you like these cards.

A Shirt Box for Dad

Here is a project I made for Cutters Creek.

Since Father's Day is about a week away,  I decided to make something different than a card. I made a shirt box for my dad.  I made this by using the cricut cartridge Tags, Bags, Boxes and more 2.  I used some white card stock as my base.  Next, for the tie and pocket I used paper from a 6x6 paper pad Little Sport by Heidi Larsen.

Then I used a black pen and made lines all around the shirt.   The box is small (2x2 1/4) , so I put in some wrapped candy that he likes. So, I hope liked my little shirt box as a small gift for Father's Day. Please visit the store for many wonderful items.  Just ask Kim if she can get the Cricut cartridge or the paper pad pack I used.

I design for Cutters Creek and here are 2 projects I did this week for them.

My co-worker asked me to make her some graduation cards for her daughters who are graduating from high school and college. The first card - it measured 9x6, then on the 9in side I scored in 2 1/4 inch on both sides. The graduation paper I had I added to the flaps on both sides.

The band around the card is 1 1/2 inches wide( cut from the same paper as the flaps) and you make it as long as you want it to be.  I then cut out from Spellbinders Lacey Oval.

I stamped it with some stamps I had at home and embossed with WOW! Primary EBONY black embossing powder and added some bling under the words.

For the inside I just stamped it Congratulations- something I found at home again.

Here is the second card I made her and it measured 7x5,  I used some papers and ribbon I had at home.

For the middle I typed out from the computer Hats off to you and printed it on white card stock.  The  graduation cap I stamped and cut out and applied Diamond Stickles . I added a white ribbon from my stach and used pop up dots for the middle saying

If you saw anything you like please visit Cutters Creek store they have wonderful products and if you do not see what you want, just ask Kim, she is wonderful a trying to get what you want.

Mother's Day Card for Cutters Creek

Hello,  For my project this week I decided to make a Mother’s Day card, but instead of a traditional card I made it like a post card.  For the base I used white card stock (4 X 6) and embossed the yellow top layer using the Sizzix Butterflies and Flowers Sizzix embossing folders. (Check with Kim to see if she can order these for you).
Next I cut out some scallop circles (I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Small-S4-125- the smallest one, check with Kim to see if she can order these for you )the paper I used for the circles were from ECHO PARK-HAPPYDAYS and other pattern paper I had .I just layered the circle to form a bunch of flowers together , and used pop up dots to give it a 3D look and for the stem some baker’s twine from We R Memory Keepers-green and the bow was red.

On the back I typed out a little saying.

Hope you enjoyed this card and that all have a great Mother’s Day. Please check out Cutters Creek store for any of the supplies on I used here or other items.  Also check out Cutters Creek blog for many other ideas from very talented people.

Scrappy Dew Guest Designer

Here is my project from Scrappy Dew.  I was the guest designer for this month.

I used the reindeer penguin 2012.I choose this because each year my family have Christmas Dinner at different family members house and when it is our turn we like to make invites or just a little menu of what we are having/doing for the evening. This was cute and wanted a theme so penguins and reindeer are fun and go well together. I thought this would  be cute to place at each table so everyone knows what is going on.

So go and check out Scrappy Dew they have great paper piercing patterns and ideas.  Thanks for letting me be a guest designer.
