I design for Cutters Creek and here are 2 projects I did this week for them.

My co-worker asked me to make her some graduation cards for her daughters who are graduating from high school and college. The first card - it measured 9x6, then on the 9in side I scored in 2 1/4 inch on both sides. The graduation paper I had I added to the flaps on both sides.

The band around the card is 1 1/2 inches wide( cut from the same paper as the flaps) and you make it as long as you want it to be.  I then cut out from Spellbinders Lacey Oval.

I stamped it with some stamps I had at home and embossed with WOW! Primary EBONY black embossing powder and added some bling under the words.

For the inside I just stamped it Congratulations- something I found at home again.

Here is the second card I made her and it measured 7x5,  I used some papers and ribbon I had at home.

For the middle I typed out from the computer Hats off to you and printed it on white card stock.  The  graduation cap I stamped and cut out and applied Diamond Stickles . I added a white ribbon from my stach and used pop up dots for the middle saying

Mother's Day Card for Cutters Creek

Hello,  For my project this week I decided to make a Mother’s Day card, but instead of a traditional card I made it like a post card.  For the base I used white card stock (4 X 6) and embossed the yellow top layer using the Sizzix Butterflies and Flowers Sizzix embossing folders. (Check with Kim to see if she can order these for you).
Next I cut out some scallop circles (I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Small-S4-125- the smallest one, check with Kim to see if she can order these for you )the paper I used for the circles were from ECHO PARK-HAPPYDAYS and other pattern paper I had .I just layered the circle to form a bunch of flowers together , and used pop up dots to give it a 3D look and for the stem some baker’s twine from We R Memory Keepers-green and the bow was red.

On the back I typed out a little saying.

Hope you enjoyed this card and that all have a great Mother’s Day. Please check out Cutters Creek store for any of the supplies on I used here or other items.  Also check out Cutters Creek blog for many other ideas from very talented people.

Scrappy Dew Guest Designer

Here is my project from Scrappy Dew.  I was the guest designer for this month.

I used the reindeer penguin 2012.I choose this because each year my family have Christmas Dinner at different family members house and when it is our turn we like to make invites or just a little menu of what we are having/doing for the evening. This was cute and wanted a theme so penguins and reindeer are fun and go well together. I thought this would  be cute to place at each table so everyone knows what is going on.

So go and check out Scrappy Dew they have great paper piercing patterns and ideas.  Thanks for letting me be a guest designer.

I tied the ribbon around the red cardstock and then adhere to the black and a seprate piece I made a bow.
